Hi there!

“I have a child-like perspective: I see simple things as moments of joy scattered throughout my everyday. When rain falls, I hear it hit the pavement like fingers do on a keyboard - every droplet making a different note. When leaves move in the wind, I hear them laughing and see them waving "Hello!" as I walk by. When the Moon brightens the darkness in the sky, it's like a maternal energy giving me a hug, guiding me home. My photography and paintings capture this innocence of my inner-child, using color and depth to pull the raw emotions out. I want people to see my pieces and know that it's okay to let that little child inside each of them go out and play - find the smallest things beautiful, and be free in the moment.” - Lex Barrie
