Rose of Sharon's are a favorite flower in my family. My mother has always had a green thumb and a way of speaking to all plants - giving them the best life possible, and make them look beautiful in the process. She said to me when I showed her this picture - "You captured both a male and female plant at the same time!" - such an emotional bond to nature, flowers and all, just needs to be shared.
