Mushrooms are some of my favourite creatures. I never liked to eat them as a kid - now I think it's because I knew how important they were to the eco-system (I totally wasn't just a picky kid)! They bring new life to things that have been lost and feed trees who struggle to find nurtience in the soil and they are even houses for our friends, the fae. But what I bet you didn't know - they also make excellent fog horns!
